Black bear: The Mountains hold strong populations of bears; due to our arid climate, we have lots of color. We hunt huge boars both spring and fall, these hunts are not simply added on hunts, and we focus on “pumpkin heads.” These bears are not at all habituated to humans and should be considered Dangerous game. Hunting feeding and breeding areas can find client and guide faced with unhappy bears. Shots can potentially range from mere feet to 200 yards. This area has produced fantastic trophies with skulls

ranging from 18 -21 inches. Hunts can range from valley bottoms to above tree line; this should not be considered simply just another Black bear hunt.
